Speakers
Joey Loss, CFP® 
Joey Loss, CFP®, is a partner and financial planner at Strivus Wealth Partners in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He studied financial planning at Virginia Tech before working for two independent fee-only RIAs over an eight-year span, during which he rose to a lead advisory role. In 2022, he left to launch his own firm, which he grew for 2.5 years before merging into another local firm in 2025 as part of a merger/buy-in deal.

Stephen Fletcher, CFP®, MBA
Stephen Fletcher, CFP®, MBA, is a principal and lead financial planner at EVOadvisers in Richmond, VA. Stephen is responsible for maintaining client relationships, and developing and implementing financial plans and investment recommendations, while overseeing the planning team. Prior to EVOadvisers, Stephen was the director of advisory services for a firm in North Carolina, and he began his career at a firm in New York City, working with ultra-high net worth individuals and families. In 2020, Stephen received the New Professional of the Year Award from NAPFA. The last three years taught him a lot about ownership, mergers and buy-ins - through both success and pain.
