With the House passing the “One Big, Beautiful Bill” that proposes sweeping tax and spending changes and it now being under consideration by the Senate, this webinar will examine how the bill will make permanent the 2017 tax cuts that were set to expire at the end of this year and permanently affect the tax system. Areas of concern include: a SALT deduction increase, energy tax-credit phaseouts, deficit and debt ceiling/U.S. credit rating, student loan forgiveness repeal, tax deduction on tips and overtime wages, tax deduction for seniors making less than $75k annually, and a child tax credit increase.
Learning Objectives
  1. Understand the contents of The One, Big, Beautiful Bill and any revisions by the Senate.
  2. Prepare yourself to act quickly after the new tax law is enacted.
  3. Develop a strategy to give clients timely advice with tax planning for 2025, 2026, and beyond.
