Course Description
AI probably has more opportunities available to you than you realize. We will look at ways you can be using tools like ChatGPT to improve efficiencies, as well as other integrations available on other platforms. We will also talk about prompts and templates you can use. 
Learning Objectives
1. Learn efficient ways to use tools that you may be familiar with in serving clients, like ChatGPT.
2. Discover technologies that you may or may not already be using that incorporate AI in serving clients.
3. Understand some specific takeaways, such as prompts or templates, that you can start experimenting with in your firm.

Dan Solin

Dan Solin is the founder and president of Evidence Based Advisor Marketing, a digital marketing firm focusing on website creation, video production, and graphic design. Evidence Based Advisor Marketing was an early adopter of AI and uses it extensively in its consulting practice. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Dan is the New York Times bestselling author of the Smartest series of investment books and two self-help/sales books. His books have received applause from several respected outlets, such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and financial columnists.Dan can also be found as a guest contributor and thought-leader on Advisor Perspectives. His articles on AI integration and content marketing help advisors connect with clients, garner prospects, and save time.

John O'Connell

John O’Connell is the founder and CEO of The Oasis Group, which specializes in helping wealth management and technology firms solve their most complex challenges. The firm supports clients with technology selection and implementation; sales processes and strategy; and processes to attract, sell, propose, onboard, and service new clients.

John has more than 30 years of leadership experience in emerging businesses and established organizations. He started his career designing and developing financial applications at Merrill Lynch and KPMG Peat Marwick and subsequently held leadership positions at publicly traded companies such as Oracle.

John is the author of “Rise of The Activist Investor,” a handbook for investors who would like their money to reflect their values by exercising their rights as owners of publicly traded firms. He invented the Activist Investor Arc to describe how retail investors progress through different phases of activist investing.

Justin Bolmgren, CFP®

Justin Bolmgren is a seasoned CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner with 20 years of client-facing industry experience. Formerly a principal and executive at a hybrid broker-dealer and RIA and founder of his own RIA, he is now a partner and Chief Operating Officer at an SEC-registered investment advisory firm. Working front- and back-office roles most of his career, Justin has implemented and used much of the tech stack that is common in the industry today. His expertise extends to fintech, where he serves as a strategic advisor to start-ups specializing in AI and advice engagement technologies. Known for his innovative approach to integrating AI into financial advising, Justin offers a unique perspective on the industry's future.

Summer Parry, CFP® - Moderator 

Summer Parry, CFP®, grew up outside of Sacramento, CA with financially astute parents. Her dad is also a CFP® practitioner, and her mother is a real estate investor. Money was a common topic of her childhood – and this propelled Summer in her desire to become a financial planner. Summer graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in finance and began her career at an independent financial planning firm. After passing the CFP® exam, Summer moved to New York City, where she works at an independent firm providing comprehensive planning to high-net worth executives. Summer has always loved technology and has become an expert in applying new tools into her job as a financial planner.
