Many families have saved money for college, but most haven't saved enough to cash flow college. Even families who have saved well often don't have a strategy for how they want to use the money. This session will examine the ROI for a bachelor's degree, the purpose of the FAFSA and why most people should fill it out, how to understand the gifting landscape, and how to strategically use student loans.
1. Understand the lifetime earnings of a person with a high school education, a technical school education, and a college education.
2. Identify key pieces of financial aid and how they work in the new financial landscape.
3. Understand how student loans work and be able to help clients understand how to use them more strategically.
