What I Wish I’d Known: A Panel of Young Professionals
Course Information
Content Level: Intermediate
NAPFA Subject Area: L-Strategic Thinking
Course Description

This Genesis webinar is sponsored by LLIS, the exclusive sponsor of NAPFA Genesis.

If you were to ask experienced financial planners about the beginning of their careers, you might hear many responses begin with, “I wish I would’ve known…” This Genesis webinar will feature three young professionals who have either reached management positions at their firms or started their own firms early in their careers. The panelists will reflect on their respective journeys getting to their positions and share what they have learned along the way, as well as what they wish they would have known when they first started out. They’ll talk about navigating age bias and making the transition from school to the workplace, and they’ll answer questions from attendees.

Learning Objectives
  1. Discover practical tips for progressing in your firm.
  2. Obtain advice on successfully overcoming age bias.
  3. Learn how you can best set yourself up for success as a young planner.
