Course Description

This session will examine and detail sectors of the U.S. economy (production, consumption, and labor) and discuss their implications for current and future economic growth and inflation. It will also address current and potential monetary policy actions to address the health of the economy.

LaVaughn Henry, PhD, A.M. CBE

Dr. LaVaughn M. Henry is a former Senior Economist with the Council of Economic Advisers in the Executive Office of the President (the White House) and served previously as the Vice President and Senior Regional Officer of the Federal Reserve Branch in Cincinnati, Ohio. Active in the national economic community, Dr. Henry serves currently as Chairman of the National Association for Business Economics Foundation. He earned his PhD and Master's in economics from Harvard University, and his B.A. in Finance Economics from Rockhurst University in his hometown of Kansas City, MO.
