Gary Pittsford serves as Chief Valuation Officer at Creative Planning – one of the largest fee-only wealth management firms in the nation. Prior to joining Creative Planning, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of an independent advisory firm that provided traditional wealth management and investment management services as well as business valuation services.

He was one of the founding members and the first president of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). In addition, Gary has also served in leadership roles for the National Foundation for Financial Planning and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). His articles have been featured in more than 30 publications, including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Money Magazine, and The New York Times.
