Helping Clients Plan for Higher Education Expenses - 2022
Course Information
Content Level: Foundational
NAPFA Subject Area: A-Financial Planning Process
Course Description
This webinar will help you provide meaningful guidance to clients who are concerned with how to afford college for their children. Studies indicate that high net worth parents value college for their children. Due to the limited time frame to save for college, advisors should counsel clients to start when children are young. Most families will need several of the tools presented in this webinar to pay for college, including saving, gaining financial aid, and thoughtfully helping their child select a school that is right for them.

This is a Partner Solutions webinar sponsored by Private College 529 Plan.
Learning Objectives
  1. Discover how much a family would be expected to pay for college based on financial aid calculations.
  2. Understand current trends in college financing, including how financial aid eligibility is determined.
  3. Learn how families can reduce college expenses by planning and saving.
