Course Description
We are at the doorway of a new era; the way the profession worked for decades to serve clients is being disrupted. Within disruption is the opportunity to shape and create our next chapter, for ourselves and our clients. This session is designed to see the universal aspects of change and transitions through the lens of client service, followed by the invitation to consider how the same fundamentals might apply to our own transit from the way things were to the way thing could be in the future.

Thirty years of exploring, developing and testing financial transitions planning tools and models has allowed us to build a practical and universal adaptive system for financial planners to best serve clients. In this session, you will experience three practical tools you can use to help clients:

  • Build confidence in the face of uncertainty,
  • Regain lost cognitive capacity, and
  • Lower their stress level as they navigate life- altering circumstances.
Learning Objectives
  1. Understand and apply the fundamentals of change and transition to financial transitions clients at any age, education, culture, gender, or level of net worth.
  2. Practice the basic transition conversation using the four stages of transition map to help a client see where they are and where they may be going.
  3. Use the Power of Yet and the Decision Free Zone protocol to encourage clients to maintain a calm mind and focused steps of action.
