2023 Playbook Series #1, Session #1: Measuring Client Satisfaction and Driving Referrals
Course Information
Content Level: Foundational (Introductory)
NAPFA Subject Area: K-Marketing and Practice Management
Course Description
Are your clients truly satisfied with your services or are you a legend in your own mind? How are you doing, really? Of course, speaking with clients can provide a helpful gauge, but formally asking for feedback and measuring client satisfaction and/or net promoter score (NPS) can uncover gaps and opportunities. In this Playbook session, the first of three webinars focused on improving the client experience and attracting ideal clients, we will hear from Julie Littlechild of Absolute Engagement, Chris Manker of NEXA Insights, and Jonny Swift of Impact Communications. Each will be accompanied by a financial advisor who will share what they've learned from using various client feedback mechanisms and how they applied the learning/results.

We'll explore:
• How to move clients from simply satisfied to raving fans and spark referrals and introductions
• Driving referrals in a way that’s comfortable for you and for your clients
• If measuring satisfaction is enough to build deep client relationships
• The limitations of gathering feedback
• The future of the voice of the client

On February 23, we will drill deeper into the theme of improving client experience and attracting ideal clients when guest presenter and advisor coach Ellen Rogin, CPA, CFP®, joins us to talk about identifying and articulating your superpower, creating deep and meaningful client relationships, and more. As a capstone to this series, on March 23, Marie Swift of Impact Communications and Ellen Rogin as guest coach will lead an interactive session with participants as they share their thoughts on gathering client feedback, using testimonials that bubble up, articulating their value, attracting ideal clients, and improving the client experience.
